Mon/Tues: Prepare for teaching 7th graders about fire! Start informative posters on combustion and the environment. Wed/Thur: Teach 7th grade! Cont. working on posters after. Friday: Present posters! Work on LP if there is time left in class. (LP rubric is posted in GC) I hope everyone had a wonderful break!
Mon/Tue: Mr. McKinney will be joining us to go over some more fire demos and to solidify our understanding of how fire can teach us science! (At the end of class I will hand out your fire homework DUE: Friday before class, you need a parent signature) Wed/Thur: We will use parts of StemScope to go over the structure of matter and to gain some insight of how molecules are formed. We will read different articles from National Geographic magazines and categorize some of the different aspects that make up climate zones.
